You have been living with friction in your body for long enough! I’ve been there. I know exactly what it’s like to feel betrayed and burdened by my body. I’ve found a way out of the chaos, and I created a system to help you too. Let me tell you a little about what my body and I have been through, and how I got where I am today.

I grew up with six siblings in a disorganized, chaotic, and emotionally inflammatory home. Comfort eating was a common form of connection in my home, and since there were so many of us, competitive comfort eating led me to habitual junk food binging. I learned early on that food felt like a safe - even sacred place. I would eat to stuff down the feelings of unhappiness and unworthiness. Eating something decadent made me feel like I could escape the chaotic jumble of my emotions, or maybe even feel love. It was a powerful distraction from a situation I couldn’t control.

There were mixed messages in the house around body image. My mom wasn’t a dieter, and she did her best to provide us with balanced meals and healthy snacks, but when I hit puberty, there was little support in getting to know my body as a young woman. My mother would tell me that God doesn’t make mistakes, but point out fresh breakouts, and belly rolls when my body was folded up in yoga postures. Vanity was frowned upon, but somehow perfectionism was assumed.

All the while, my health had begun spiraling downward for no apparent reason. My athletic abilities were declining rapidly despite my hours of dedication to fitness every day. By the end of middle school, my body was so fatigued that I felt like I was wearing ankle weights in my gymnastics class, I had chronic ear infections, and I caught every cold that went around. My computer teacher called me Rudolph jokingly because of my constant red, runny nose.

My mom took me to the doctor, but they only tested for iron and thyroid levels. When both produced normal results, I was told that I needed to work harder on my cardio to generate more energy. Over the next few years, despite tireless efforts to workout harder, my physical abilities continued declining. By my sophomore year, I could no longer run a single lap around the track without intense, doubled over wheezing. I was forced to quit the track team. I felt like a quitter and a failure.

By the age of 19, I was battling hay fever, acne, boils, inflamed/itchy skin, asthma, sinus infections, ear infections, intense back pain, brain fog, alternating diarrhea and constipation, and complete mental, emotional, and physical exhaustion. I was napping 3-4 hours a day after school. I looked normal, even healthy, but I was terribly uncomfortable in my skin and felt like a zombie.

While in class, a teacher introduced the idea that dairy sensitivities are related to hay fever, and a light bulb went off in my head. I thought, “I wonder if that’s what’s wrong with me.” I started connecting the dots: my poor college student diet consisted mainly of whole, clean foods, while my diet on visits home included many indulgences like pizza, ice cream, cereal, and baklava. It became clear that when I ate dairy products, my symptoms were triggered.

I began the process of eliminating dairy from my life. I felt and saw the difference immediately. Within months, I was running again. In fact, my first run after giving up dairy, I ran 5 miles. That was the longest distance I’d ever run in my life. I got my lungs back, and I could finally breathe with ease again! My body was healing; undeniably.

After developing a dairy elimination system, I began my studies in holistic nutrition (Nutritional Therapy Association), which allowed me to continue to clean up my eating habits. I wanted to educate everyone around me but saw so many people struggling to accept food as part of the mind, body, soul relationship, and conversation.

At the core of my dietary transformation, I was also undergoing a spiritual, emotional, and mental remodel. With perfect timing, life was offering me lessons, and nuggets of wisdom that guided me to learn how to change my frame of mind, rewrite belief systems that weren't serving me and create my own dream life. This is what made my dietary transformation possible, and what inspired me to study life coaching with the (Tony) Robbins Madanes Training Center.

I now coach women on how to connect the mind, body, and spirit in positive conversation, so they can stop dieting, and truly transform their relationships with their bodies. I focus on a holistic mind, body, spirit approach with my clients, empowering them to strengthen their connection to their intuitive voice, emotional intelligence, and genuine motivators.

As I’ve coached more and more women on how to build a healthy, loving relationship with their bodies, how to eat intuitively, and how to feel comfortable and confident in their skin: I’ve watched their energy skyrocket, weight drop, and confidence soar! I’ve since made a commitment to dedicate the rest of my professional life to helping as many women as possible, who have felt let down by their bodies, to feel gorgeous, healthy, energetic, and confident from the inside out.

I've worked with many private clients and spoken in front of countless groups. I'm living my dream of coaching women to fall madly in love with their bodies and their lives. With experience, my inspiration to create a system to help even more women grew stronger and stronger until I birthed my system; Love Your Body Now! My life experience has been a crazy intense journey of learning to trust my intuition, overcoming failures and deep-seated insecurities, understanding my innate value as a human - as a woman, and choosing every single day to invest my time, energy, and resources into the care of my body - so I CAN answer the calling on my heart. What I teach comes from real life, not theories I've read about. I've been transforming and intuitively creating a path for women for the last 15 years. This means I am my own flavor.

I know exactly what it’s like to go from feeling very blah and cloudy, with only a faint memory of the vibrancy of childhood, to feeling stronger, more capable, and more excited by life than ever, all from the transformation and conversation I experienced IN my body.

Diet and exercise are crucial elements in achieving good health and vitality; however, they dominate the conversation to a dangerous degree. The truth is that the things you believe about yourself, your diet, and your fitness have more effect on your metabolism and vitality than what you eat, or how many calories you burn. I absolutely cover the importance of nutritional density and balance, and the importance of exercise, but I also cover the most important part of the big picture; your beliefs, emotions, habits, and ability to redesign reality as you know it.

Society has taught you how to have a transactional relationship with your body. I’ll teach you how to have a trusting, loving, abundance-based friendship with your body. That’s when you will experience physical health and balance in a way that will have you craving the exact nutrients your body wants, and movement as a form of physical expression and cleansing. I believe this is an essential skill set on the path to living joyfully.

What type of personality do you work best with and what is expected of me, as a client?

The Love Your Body Now Signature System workshops and programs were created for people who are absolutely OVER living out the never-ending cycle of diet mentality and culture, and TOTALLY ready to feel confident, comfortable, and gorgeous in their body. This means not running around all day long, beating yourself up anymore saying: "I shouldn't eat that… I wish I looked like her… That will go straight to my_____... If only I were ____ lbs thinner… Something is wrong with me..." They were created for you to put systems in place within a few short months which will eventually lead you to full trust in your body's ability to tell you exactly what it needs in order to feel energetic, strong, and capable, even while losing weight!

As a woman who has battled low confidence, discomfort in my body, feelings of betrayal from my body, and injured body image, I'm known to work best with other women who are craving with every ounce of their being, to learn to love themselves to confidence, comfort, and vibrant health in their body. I work with women who are committed to their success no matter what, who are super-ready to get going and just want to know exactly what steps to take to love their body to health and vitality. My clients often tell me – "just tell me exactly what to eat, and I will!" My programs won’t work for…

Those who aren’t serious about paving a completely new path for themselves. Please know I’m very selective in who I work with. I’m known to (gently) turn away potential clients who aren’t suited for my programs and therefore won’t get the results for which they would have signed up. I choose clients that I can truly assist on their path to success. Love Your Body Now programs are not for those who are struggling to make ends meet. It’s been my experience that people in financial crisis have a much harder time implementing the steps in the program. If you currently fall into this category, don’t worry, I’ve been there too. It’s okay, there’s always a place to start when it comes to turning life, luck, and finances around. I look forward to working with you in the future, for now:

Great question! It's my job to provide you with the tools you need to tear down your old framework and start your rebuilding process. It's your job to own your story, process, and reconstruction, One. Step. At. A. Time.

All my clients start the program at different places in their mind, health, and relationship to self. Some women are ready to go and hit the ground running - creating dramatic shifts in a very short time frame, while others have a bit more groundwork to do first. Every single one of my clients is living a unique story.

There is no wrong place to be as long as you're aiming toward self-love and nourishment. Once the groundwork has been laid, actually losing weight (and keeping it off) will become easier than ever. If you try to jump to this step without the groundwork, it will fail… just like every other diet. Because the difference TRULY is in changing the beliefs and emotions that have been holding you back for years, or maybe even decades!

How can I guarantee myself that I will truly change my relationship with my body and food, after all these years of trying and failing?

Be totally committed to your own success. Do the homework! Understand that this is a proven process, that only works if you take action and implement all of the steps. All my clients who have diligently applied every step of the Love Your Body System, have found a renewed confidence and comfort in their bodies, felt their zest and vitality for life reignite, and have learned how to be around, and talk about food in a way that allows freedom of heart and peace of mind. You can have this too, but it takes 100% commitment.
